JOHN PAUL II “Have no fear and open the door to Christ”: these are the words of Pope John Paul II, who has visited the various countries of the world and has aided different confessions on the way to peace; it is he who recited ‘mea culpa’ in the face of anti-Semitism and completed the dismantling of the totalitarian communist regime. He is the first non-Italian Pope at the Vatican after a period of more than four centuries.
